What is softwashing?

Softwashing is a method of cleaning used by the exterior cleaning industry.

Mainly used to remove live biofilm from different surfaces, along with being a great method of cleaning for delicate surfaces such as: render/K-rend, pebble dash, roofs, natural stone etc.

This method of cleaning can introduce various specialist cleaning solutions into the low pressure water to assist with the cleaning process being carried out.

In some cases softwashing will be used alongside other methods of cleaning such as pressure washing or steam cleaning to enable us to achieve the greatest results.

With this method of cleaning we greatly reduce our water consumption in comparison to pressure washing alone.

Additionally most softwash systems are 12V/24V meaning there’s no fuel being used if just softwashing surfaces.
