Terms and Conditions

Fully Insured £5m Public Liability & £10m Employers Liability.

By booking our services you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

Our company will perform the services selected by you on the day stated. In the event that we cannot carry out the service as indicated we will let you know as soon as possible and re-arrange for the soonest available day. We will accept no liability for failing to perform the services on time or not at all. To cancel an appointment we require 24 hours notice. We may at our discretion issue a charge to recover the costs of lost business if less than 24 hours notice is given. In the event that our staff turn up to provide our service but are unable to do so due to no fault of our own we will issue a charge to cover the costs, this will be described as a failed delivery charge.

CUSTOMERS MAY BE REQUIRED TO PAY A DEPOSIT OF 25% OF THE TOTAL JOB VALUE TO SECURE THEIR BOOKING. 

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS: You will be invoiced on completion of the work, the total amount due on the invoice is payable within 14 days (this is subject to credit check). Commercial clients with bad credit will be asked to pay for our service up front in full before any work is undertaken.

Where applicable any invoice not paid after 30 days from the date of issue will be subject to a late payment fee of 5% of the initial invoice value and interest will continue to be added at the rate of 5% per week.

DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS: You will be invoiced immediately on completion of work and the total due on the invoice is payable immediately. If the balance is not paid within three business days we reserve the right to add interest to the outstanding balance at a rate of 5% per week

We no longer accept cheques as payment for any service. JOBBER PAYMENT customers please be aware that the date the payment leaves your account and the date the service is received will not necessarily marry up but the payment received will be for works completed in the same calendar month.

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with our service for any reason and would like to make a complaint please send an email with subject ‘service complaint’ to info@ecowashexteriorcleaning.co.uk

We will then review the complaint and contact you within 30 days.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: Pressure washing can remove any loose or weakened pointing or surface layer. When pressure washing near buildings any loose or flaking paint can easily be blown off of walls. Although every measure is taken to reduce the risk of these events occurring Ecowash Exterior Cleaning will accept no responsibility if these events occur.

Pressure washing can reveal pre-existing damage to the surfaces that are being cleaned. The company accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage that may be revealed during pressure washing or at anytime after the pressure washing is complete.

FILMING / RECORDING / PHOTOGRAPHY: You agree to digital recording of all work being carried out carry out for insurance, training and marketing  purposes. 

CORONA VIRUS SERVICE CONTINUITY POLICY: Added terms to ensure our ability to continue delivering our services during the pandemic and the resulting economic climate mean that we have to apply stricter terms to our payment policy.

Any existing customers will have a credit limit imposed based on previous performance and average number of days taken to receive payment for services carried out in the past.

We will not perform additional works for customers until any overdue invoices are cleared.
